In recent years, the League has greatly enhanced and improved education efforts with the implementation of the Certified Municipal Officials' program, which provides specialized training for municipal elected officials. MS Housing and Community Development Conference

June 17-19, 2013
The Mississippi Housing and Development Conference will be conducted on Monday-Wednesday, June 17-19, 2013. The conference will be held in Greenwood, MS at the Leflore County Civic Center. This year’s conference has several offerings that will be valuable to Mississippi’s municipalities and your continued commitment to make available affordable housing to all our citizens.

2013 Empowering Communities for a Healthy Mississippi

May 21-24, 2013
The Mississippi State Department of Health is hosting the 6th Empowering Communities for a Healthier Mississippi Conference. The goal of this year's conference is to foster a creative, holistic approach towards improving the physical, environmental, behavioral, and emotional health of all Mississippians.

(2 CMO Elected Credits will be offered to Mayors and Board Members)
