MML promotes news, events, and conferences of interest to its members. In addition, the MML publishes a magazine, pamphlets, and technical briefs to assist its member cities and their officials in performing their duties. There also links to other publications of interest to municipal officials.

Earn 4 CMO Elective Credits by attending these classes offered by the North East MS Community College! 

The leadership series hones essential skills in Leadership, Communication, Resolving Conflict, Managing Complaints and Improving Employee Work Habits.

These topics will provide valuable insight and experience for leaders whether you are a local elected official, a business owner, an industrial manager or supervisor, or in the service industry (health care or commercial/retail). Each workshop will involve lots of interaction and sharing of experience. Registration includes all five classes for the Leadership Consortium Project of Prentiss County. The dates are:

October 23, 2018 Essential Skills of Leadership 

October 30, 2018 Essential Skills of Communication 

November 6, 2018 Resolving Conflict 

November 13, 2018 Managing Complaints 

November 27, 2018 Improving Employee Work Habits 

 

All classes will meet from 8:30am until noon in the Conference Room (304) located in Holliday Hall on the Northeast Campus in Booneville.
