MML News

MML promotes news, events, and conferences of interest to its members. In addition, the MML publishes a magazine, pamphlets, and technical briefs to assist its member cities and their officials in performing their duties. There also links to other publications of interest to municipal officials.

Additional Requirements for Receiving Homestead Exemption Reimbursement Funds

During the 2012 legislative session, Senate Bill 2977 established additional notification requirements for jurisdictions located in a county that is completing its reappraisal update during the current calendar year. If this applies to your city, please make sure you publish the required notice because the penalty for not publishing is not receiving your homestead exemption reimbursement.
