Job Duties:

  • Payroll ( computing time and time-record keeping)/W-2 computation and disbursement
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports/Administer fiscal reporting
  • Administer responsibilities with Financial Audits/Worker’s Compensation Audits
  • Operate & maintain accounting system
  • File employer taxes (Federal, State, MDES, and Sales Taxes)
  • Complete bank account reconciliations
  • Maintain purchase/work order system
  • Manage petty cash funds
  • Maintain personnel and vendor files
  • Develop and implement forms/documents (Policies & Procedures/Administrative)
  • Assist Water Clerk with department services
  • Assist Town Clerk with Permit & Inspection services/Community Center rental processing/Human Resource duties
  • Attend board meetings
  • Order and pickup office supplies
  • Answer/Route incoming phone calls
  • Assist in all areas as needed
