MML promotes news, events, and conferences of interest to its members. In addition, the MML publishes a magazine, pamphlets, and technical briefs to assist its member cities and their officials in performing their duties. There also links to other publications of interest to municipal officials.

Hinds County Sheriff's Office and Grant Writing USA will present a two-day grant writing workshop in Jackson, MS - March 11-12, 2024. This training is for grant seekers across all disciplines. Attend this class and you'll learn how to find the funding sources and write winning grant proposals. Beginning and experienced grant writers from city, county and state agencies as well as healthcare organizations, nonprofits, K-12, colleges and universities are encouraged to attend. Tuition is normally $495, however, Mississippi Municipal League members and their staff will receive a $30 discount with the code "ASSN".
