Design supports a community’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual assets that set the commercial district apart. Join MMSA for "Why Place Matters" Design Training in Downtown Tupelo, 2020 Great American Main Street Award Winner, on Friday, March 8 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. 

Come early and shop and tour around on Thursday, March 7! Downtown Tupelo will host a reception on the Rooftop of Park Heights Restaurant at 5:30 p.m. A group dinner will follow at 7 p.m. at Park Heights. Must pre-register and pay by March 1.

This training is appropriate and encouraged for Main Street directors, Design committee members, local board members, city officials, and others interested in quality design in downtown.

The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8 at the GumTree Museum in downtown Tupelo. Lunch will be included.
